The Villa

A comfortable villa close to mountain village Sedella​

The house is comfortable, well-furnished and has a good wi-fi connection. Both bedrooms and the living room have air-conditioning units and ceiling fans. For winter stays there is a cosy woodburner too.

The kitchen is fully equipped for self-catering with an oven, hob, dishwasher, microwave, a capsule coffee machine, slow cooker and plenty of crockery, cutlery and glasses. There is a good size fridge freezer, so you can stock-up with groceries on the way from the airport.

The bedrooms have insect screens on the windows and black-out curtains to keep out the early morning sun. The main bedroom has a king-size bed and the second bedroom can be set up as a twin or a super-king.

The house has a bathroom with a slipper bath and walk-in shower and a separate shower room. Both rooms have underfloor heating for cooler spring and autumn days. The shower room also houses the washing machine.

We have a beautiful saltwater pool where you can chill out and take in the spectacular mountain views, and in the evening, The Lookout is the perfect spot for a sundowner or stargazing. There is very little light pollution here so the night sky is amazing.

The garden is newly planted with a variety of shrubs and fruit trees, including two limes, a mandarin and an orange; and of course there are the five washingtonia palms which the house is named after. We have re-furbished the outside space with relaxation and comfort in mind. There are plenty of space to take in the views and relax in the shade, or in the sun. At the side of the house is an outdoor dining area with a table seating six and an outdoor kitchen with a gas BBQ. In the garden close to the BBQ area we’ve planted a variety of herbs including thyme, rosemary, mint and chives.
